I'm Not in Denial, I'm in My Destiny
And Elisha prayed, and said, "Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see." Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. – 2 Kings 6:17
What is wrong with you? Don’t you see that big fat problem staring you right in the face? I know you are not getting ready to ignore that huge obstacle standing in your way. Don’t you hear the demons from your past knocking so hard that your door just might cave in? Come on now, I know you saw that report from the doctor, didn’t you?
Let’s be real. It is not an easy assignment to walk by faith when all havoc is breaking loose in your life; when the kids are acting like they are on a trip without a ticket; when the job shuts down today and they’re not paying you tomorrow; when surgery is the only option you’ve been given for survival. But, my friends, it’s time to not only think about God’s promises being performed in our lives, it is high time to declare and decree that regardless of the condition, our destiny will be fulfilled according to the Word, the perfect plan and the will of God. You’re not in denial, you’re in your destiny.
Have you ever wondered why there are a ton of people in excess who can confirm what you already see and know in the natural, but there are very few who will boldly stand with you when you step out by faith to live in your destiny? There is no need to worry about who can see and who can’t see your potential. Just like Elisha, God will open the eyes of those who need to witness His glory in your life and shut the eyes of those who don’t. Some people will just never get it and will think you’re in denial, but that’s okay. Because you and I both know, you’re in your destiny.
I urge you to embrace what GOD said He will do in your life, who GOD said you are in the earth and in His Kingdom, and where GOD has prepared places for your feet to tread that you have yet to travel. You are not in denial…you’re in your destiny.
Shatter those glass ceilings, walls, doors, and floors that are holding you back! There’s an old saying that says people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. Well, I challenge that philosophy today. PLEASE throw a stone so you can free yourself from the prison of what you see with your natural eyes and experience the destiny of what God can show you in the spirit! Just remember when you get accused of being in denial, trust God and know that you are living in your destiny!
